When I first found out that I had inherited Keratoconus from my mother I thought my life would be over. She had already had 2 corneal transplants hence I was certain I would have to do the same. However, when I came to see Dr. Joshi he told me that a new treatment called crosslinking was available and I was very excited. It was fast, easy and apart from minimal sensitivity to light, it was not obvious that I had undergone surgery.
Dr. Joshi and his team are loving and amazing. My eyes are progressing very well and I look forward to undergoing cross-linking on my left eye. Thank you.
