Hi, my name is Anne. I was initially diagnosed with Keratoconus in 2006 in the US. I then got Intacs placed on both eyes in 2008 and 2010. At that time, cross-linking was not available in the US so I did not get it. Initially, my eyes showed improvement but in a couple of years they started to degrade. I then sought different medical treatments from different doctors and tried different things like RGP lenses and scleral lenses. I moved back to Kenya in 2016 where I also sought different treatments from different doctors here with no success. In 2020, beginning of this year, I read about Dr. Joshi on Facebook from a friend. I made an appointment with him and on my first visit; he finally gave me the answers I have been looking for. He told me I needed corneal transplants in both eyes. He removed my Intacs on my right eye and did my corneal transplant on September 17^th. It’s been a life changing experience and the best decision I’ve ever made. I can now see more than I ever saw or remember ever seeing in a long time. I am so abundantly grateful to Dr. Joshi and his team and I wish them all well
